Age of vines: 6 to 30 years
Terroir: mostly clay-limestone
Viticulture: Carignan and Grenache are goblet pruned, whereas Cabernet and Syrah are trellis trained. The vines are bud pruned and the leaves thinned. Green harvesting is also done.
Winemaking: Grapes are hand picked into small plastic crates. The grapes are put through a pneumatic winepress and the juice undergoes cold settling. The wine is fermented the traditional way in temperature-control- led stainless steel vats.
Average Yield: 41 hectolitres per hectare
Average Yield: Beautiful salmon-pink colour. Both fruity (pear, peach) and floral (acacia) bouquet. Full-bodied and wonderfully fresh on the palate.
