Soil: Gravel to clayey silt
Subsoil: Very heterogeneous as everywhere in the Barsac-Sauternes area, but predominantly calcareous.
Density: 7200 vines per hectare.
Harvesting: Grape-harvesting is done in staggered selective pickings according to very strict principles of manual selection of berries. Yield per hectare varies between 10 and 20 hectolitres according to vintage.
Fermentation: It is partly effected in thermoregulated stainless steel vats and the rest directly in the barrels. The length of the maturing period varies according to vintage.
