The vineyards of Château Monestier La Tour lie in the heart of Périgord
Pourpre, the ‘Purple Périgord’. The undulating hillsides of this part of the
Dordogne are natural, unspoilt and steeped in history, with traces of
ancient châteaux and small medieval villages adding to their timeless
charm.
It was this privileged spot that the Scheufele family chose for their
winemaking venture, a setting completely in harmony with the environment.
This region is known for its commitment to sustainable viticulture, with
more developed organic and biodynamic vineyards than any other.

TASTING NOTES
Appealing deep ruby-red colour, the nose opens with notes of black fruit and finishes with a hint of liquorice. The palate is full-bodied, with a fresh attack, refined, delicate tannins and a liquorice finish like the nose.
